The Professional, Talent Development will support the main processes within the Development Function (in HR) and will actively contribute to the planning and execution of strategic and operational initiatives. Establish, maintain, monitor, and measure effectiveness of corporate-wide learning & development programs. Programs include, but are not limited to: Onboarding, Lead MVP (Leadership Development) and Lead+ (High Potential Employee). Serve as a facilitator within each of these programs. Would be responsible for helping to coordinate our internal “Award and External Leadership”, community partnership programs (AHIP, Leadership Tech Valley, Leadership Rochester, etc.). Support our business by utilizing our Dayforce Learning management tools, our e-learning (Articulate) software and other learning technologies. Consult with internal corporate trainers to support corporate project training needs, operational training requirements, and other initiatives. Serve an HR Business Partner throughout our organization, working closely with our other HR functional areas. Help drive learning brand and internal learning communications (SharePoint and other internal tools). Ensure training compliance for corporate-wide policies, programs, and industry regulations. Manage training related logistics, including training budget management and facility management. Works closely with the Lead and Sr. Leader of Talent Development on all learning strategy and initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum Experience: At least 2 years of professional level HR experience required with some experience in learning & development functions or other related learning/training areas. Prior experience leading projects and/or teams strongly preferred.
Superior skills in interpersonal interactions (e.g., partnering, conflict management, consulting, mentoring, coaching), team building, and meeting facilitation required.
Demonstrated skills in training materials preparation (Power Point or other), on line training development and/or training presentation skills strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to lead large initiatives and teams with multiple deliverables, complex communication and training plans, and multi-level cross-functional stakeholder buy-in.
Software: MS Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point).
Some travel including overnight stays periodically may be required.
Familiarity and/or experience with learning technology such as Dayforce, Articulate, etc.…
