As Leader, Informatics Products, you will have the opportunity to think creatively about what insights can drive improved health outcomes and care delivery efficiencies; you’ll build reporting and business intelligence tools that provide actionable information to internal and external partners. This role works with business units and disciplines across MVP to maintain and further develop an internal distribution system for reports, analytics, and dashboards that support product and service evolution, strategic growth initiatives, and operational needs. Key Responsibilities
• Build new Informatics products that provide monitoring, descriptive and diagnostic analytics, and automated alerts for a wide variety of business needs
• Manage the lifecycle of new and existing Informatics products, including provider network reporting, quality improvement, and integrated health management
• Plan and prioritize new products, document product requirements and user stories, produce training and instructional material, and manage product rollout
• Manage an internal platform for the distribution of analytics products, support adoption of data resources across the organization
• Support business users to improve products, diagnose problems and document solutions; partner with end users to maximize the value of Informatics products
• Review product performance against expectations and determine any needs to improve the value and performance of products
• Develop business intelligence applications with emerging data sources, including electronic health records and social determinant of health data
• Collaborate with software developers to deliver products according to requirements
• Coordinate reporting governance policy and procedures
• Work with analysts to produce insights regarding member care and experience, provider network performance, quality improvement programs, and member acquisition and retention efforts
• Contribute to a strong product culture of continuous development


Position Qualifications

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree required


Minimum Experience:
Five or more years of experience in software product development, ideally including enterprise-scale business intelligence tools based on large data sets
Demonstrated success in defining and launching software products that meet and exceed business objectives
Experience with product management frameworks 
Experience with large data sets of health care related data (i.e. claims data, member data, clinical data, actuarial data, provider quality measures)


Required Skills:
• Adept at software product management and familiar with methods of leveraging big data to create compelling user experiences, measuring impact, and driving product development
• Able to:

o Gather, prioritize and document product requirements in collaboration with customer, product, clinical and operational teams
o Translate complex business requirements into technical/functional product requirements
o Produce analyses that support reporting development efforts
o See around corners to anticipate use cases and potential issues

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others

Preferred Experience & Skills:
• Prior experience managing product development staff
• Background with agile software development methodologies
• Healthcare domain expertise and experience with healthcare data including claims, code sets, eligibility and related topics strongly preferred
