Leader, Community Based Outreach Staff
Responsible for Leading field staff that report out of the local retail offices, this includes,
main offices, satellite offices, community based locations, community outreach
vehicle locations, and other areas where we meet with potential clients. Responsible
for overseeing Outreach and promotion of the Plan’s Medicaid, Child Health Plus
(CHP), Essential Plan and “on-exchange” Qualified Health Plans (QHP) to
individuals and community groups in targeted areas. Provide ongoing support to
Field CAC’s and Enrollment & Retention CAC’s. In collaboration with the Sr.
Leader ensures appropriate coverage in MVP satellite office and all MVP
locations. Provides monthly field outreach reports to Sr. Leader. Conducts
regularly scheduled team meetings with staff. Completes the outreach schedule
and ensures it is updated and entered into the Time Trade program on a timely
basis. Facilitates and participates in all meetings scheduled for the Outreach
department. On a regular basis, reviews electronic applications in Salesforce
to ensure the integrity and quality of the enrollment process. Communicates
with Sr. Leader to identify Representatives that may require additional
follow-up and other training. Understands enrollment process and ensures that
all field staff is following the CAC guidelines, as well as all corporate
enrollment processes (SMART). Conducts spot checks at outreach locations and
events to ensure they are complying with enrollment requirements—includes
weekends and evenings. Ensures that all field staff follows MVP’s policy and
procedures with emphasis on the CAC standards and SMART process. Leads
enrollment process to ensure staff is meeting enrollment goals. Completes
monthly, probationary and annual staff evaluations. Develops and maintains
relationships with community agencies. Makes presentations on the NYS of Health
Marketplace to Community Based Organizations & provider office staff.
Maintains enrollment sites in compliance with the CBO’s and MVP’s guidelines.
Together with the Sr. Leader, collaborates with Community Relations to obtain
and provide coverage for appropriate events. Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree and (4) years related work experience or
equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Prior experience with Medicaid and Safety Net products.
Prior Medicaid/Safety Net marketing and/or outreach experience
Minimum 3 years leadership
written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with
multiple audiences including internal and external customers.
