In collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and other stakeholders, responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of behavioral health and integrated medical management strategies for:


  • Care Management Programs

  • Utilization Management Programs

  • Integrated health model development (physical and behavioral health)

  • Clinical integration with value-based purchasing opportunities

  • Alignment of pharmacy with all clinical and non-clinical stakeholders

  • Technology enablement and operational excellence

  • Regulatory compliance and accreditation for clinical programs

  • Department budget management

  • Integrated Quality programming/initiatives


Provides senior leadership oversight for Behavioral Health Utilization Management, Behavioral Health Case Management, Clinical Director Children’s Services and HARP areas. Residence in New York preferred but not mandatory.  Performs other duties as assigned.




Minimum Education:

R.N. or M.S.W./L.C.S.W.  with active license in New York required;

Masters’ degree in Nursing, Business or other related area strongly preferred.


Minimum Experience:

Minimum of 7 years in Behavioral Health managed care or Behavioral Health clinical setting. 

A minimum of 5 years of increasing clinical leadership responsibility in a licensed managed care organization (MCO).  

Regulatory or accreditation audit experience.

Experience in Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial products with experience in vulnerable and individual populations a plus.

Experience in integrated health delivery (physical and behavioral health) a strong plus.

Experience with value-based purchasing and provider engagement a strong plus.
