As a Marketing Manager, you will help fulfill the promise that Central makes to our customers through effective development of your assigned territory, maintaining agency relations, and meeting established premium and profit objectives. This will include:

 

  • Producing the budgeted volume and policy count of profitable lines of business in your assigned territory
  • Using pricing and binding authority to produce increasing premium volume and policy count of profitable lines of business
  • Prospecting for and making new appointments based on Central prototype requirements
  • Acting as a liaison between agencies and the Central Companies

 

We are seeking someone with the following experience/skills/knowledge:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience overall in Marketing or Underwriting with a property and casualty company
  • Ability to rate personal and commercial lines
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter who works independently and manages work schedule
  • Commitment to successfully completing our Marketing Training Program
  • Currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Northeastern Illinois area
  • Available for extensive travel, including overnight
  • Knowledge of IL Territory
  • Preferred:
    • College Degree
