QUALIFICATIONS:

 

*1.   Minimum 5 years Marketing or Underwriting experience with a property and

        casualty company

*2.   Possess a positive, professional, cooperative, and quality-conscious service attitude

        that upholds Central's core values of integrity, relationships, and excellence

*3.   Ability to rate personal and commercial lines

*4.   Ability to complete required training programs

*5.   Strong communication, presentation, and negotiations skills

*6.   Ability to make a favorable impression in all dealings with agents

*7.   Available for extensive travel including overnight travel

*8.   Ability to organize and control work schedule

*9.   Must be a self-starter

*10. Currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the northeast Illinois area

*11. Knowledge of Illinois territory is required.

12.   College degree is preferred

 

DUTIES:

 

*1.   Develop and maintain a territory that will produce the budgeted volume and policy

        count of profitable lines of business

*2.   Use pricing and binding authority to produce increasing premium volume and policy

        count of profitable lines of business

*3.   Act as liaison between agencies and the Central Companies

*4.   Prospect for and make new appointments based on Central prototype requirements
