Human Resources and Administrative Manager

In addition to providing Human Resources expertise and supporting the day-to-day operation of the office, which includes several employees working remotely from the office in 8 different states, the HR & Administrative Manager is responsible for working with the VP – Regional Manager and the rest of the management team to perpetuate a culture that fulfills Central’s core values of Excellence, Integrity, and Relationships.

  8.  Human resources experience preferred

  9.  Property & Casualty insurance experience preferred 

10.  Office management experience a plus

 

DUTIES:

 

*1.  Work collaboratively with the VP - Regional Manager and the rest of the

       management team to perpetuate a culture that fulfills Central's core values of

       Excellence, Integrity, and Relationships

*2.  Work collaboratively with Home Office Human Resources and the regional

      departments to help determine required staffing levels and coordinate the

      recruiting/selection/hiring process for the regional office (this includes several

      positions that work remotely from the office across 8 different states)

*3.  Handle various Human Resources related tasks/procedures/policies (hiring,

       orientation, onboarding, training, etc.)

*4.  Work collaboratively with the regional management team and Home Office Human

       Resources to resolve various Human Resources related issues (performance issues,

       etc.)

*5.  Work collaboratively with Home Office Human Resources and other regional offices

       to improve the Human Resource function

*6.  Ensure effective operations of the office:

       a. Oversee the Office Services team in support of the day-to-day operation of the

           office

       b. Work with Home Office IT to make sure the region's technology capabilities are

          setup and working correctly (PC's, internet, telephones, conference rooms, etc.)

       c. Manage the physical facilities - work with building owner/property manager to

          make sure the building is maintained as expected (HVAC, plumbing, electrical,

          janitorial, etc.)

       d. Coordinate a variety of meetings and events
