POSITION SUMMARY:

Delivers excellent customer service to all conference and retreat guests; responds to guest needs, maintains cleanliness and organization of the camp grounds and its buildings, and is responsible for setup and breakdown of event equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provides excellent customer service to all conference and retreat guests.

• Must be prepared to do pre setup and post breakdown for conference events including light housekeeping.

• Builds relationships with groups to ensure return business at the YMCA.

• Handles and resolves event concerns and informs supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic knowledge of computers and audio visual equipment.

• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.

• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Walk, run, stand, climb, kneel, sit on floor and get back up and stoop

• Continuous operations requiring attention to detail and multi-tasking

• Lift and pull up to 50 pounds

• Stand or sit for long periods of time

• Physically able to successfully complete required certifications
