The Psychotherapist (LCSW, PhD, PsyD, LMFT, or LPC) is responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapies in a collaborative team environment, as well as participating in our interdisciplinary treatment team. The candidate who fills this position will serve as a professional role model, leader, mentor, and clinical resource/educator for patient, families, and colleagues.

The Psychotherapist with Veritas Collaborative will also be responsible to carry a caseload of 4-5 patients. Facilitate 4-5 therapeutic groups. The Psychotherapist will serve as a core member of the Veritas Collaborative interdisciplinary treatment team. Apply sound theoretical knowledge of psychopathology and corresponding treatment modalities.
 

Psychotherapist Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Discipline (i.e., Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology) or Ph.D. in Clinical Mental Health Discipline (i.e., Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology). CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist) preferred
  • Desire to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to effectively assess quality/effectiveness of therapeutic services and adjust services for improvement
  • Completes continuing education requirements as mandated by credentialing agencies
  • Ability to quickly and independently process ideas and implement changes
  • Personable, reliable, flexible, critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Flourish in a collaborative team environment
  • Kind, compassionate, and genuine
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems; Microsoft Outlook; and other electronic platforms
  • Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
