The Learning & Development Temp will be responsible for building and editing technical training materials, technical reference guides, and Moving Services systems. This position is also responsible for partnering with L&D Leaders to manage Learning and Development projects across SIRVA. This role will also assist with administrative functions such as schedule creation, small scale system testing, and assisting with course review in SIRVA’s Learning Management System.


Document Creation

  • Create and modify instructional guides for SIRVA’s various internal and external systems

  • Assist with the creation of micro-learning materials

  • Create step-by-step training manuals for external suppliers

Administration Activities

  • Assist in managing the QLAB (sales tool) rollout, including communications, agent data and go-live dates. 

  • Assist in managing mailboxes for Learning & Development team including QLAB and Mobile Mover launches (revamp, revamptraining, agenttraining, and msitcommunications), including responding when escalation / guidance is needed. Manage learning projects across SIRVA and the Agent Network.

  • Complete system testing as needed

  • Create / manage / coordinate schedules for trainers

  • Manage distribution lists and organizational charts

Example:  System implementations, compliance required training, industry developments, regulation changes, business process updates, new hire assimilation, developmental learning for associates. 

Special Projects, training and other duties as assigned

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Word. Proficient in MicroSoft Paint, Photoshop or other similar tool.

  • Skilled communicator, both written and oral.  Global awareness preferred.    

  • Able to effectively interface with all levels of employees from entry level to Senior Management.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to perform job responsibilities independently. 

  • Efficient internet research skills. 

  • High School Diploma Required, Bachelor’s degree / pursuit of degree preferred.
