The Compensation and Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Benefits and Compensation departments. This role will provide administrative and clerical support, as well as be responsible for the day-to-day administration of SIRVA’s benefit and compensation plans, including health and welfare and retirement programs.

Responsibilities

-Tracks and manages all new hire enrollments and life events.  Ensures they are completed within the required time frames.  Provides Payroll with bi-weekly premium proration calculations from new hire and life event enrollments. Updates and maintains benefit materials and intranet site. 
-Acts as a resource for employee questions and issues regarding the various benefit programs.  Is responsible for monitoring and responding to employee and vendor inquiries from the benefit email box.
-Vendor Relations: Processes vendor invoices for payment, provides employment information to vendors to facilitate benefit coverage as well as commencement of retirement benefits.
-Is responsible for the integrity of the Job Description Library.  Maintains and updates existing job
descriptions, ensures all required data is documented and job descriptions are formatted accurately.
-Conducts salary analyses utilizing benchmark surveys for new and existing jobs.
Participates in annual salary surveys; partners with HRIS to gather relevant data, compiles
data required for survey submission, and analyzes survey results. 
-Assists with administrative tasks as assigned by members of the benefits and compensation departments.

Qualifications 
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
High level of detail orientation
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and be flexible to changing priorities
Drive to learn and expand skill set, motivated to achieve results
4 year Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or Human Resources
