The HR Coordinator is responsible for full administrative support to the HR Generalists, HR Manager, Director of Human Resources, and VP of Human Resources. This includes providing support on Recruiting, HRIS and Benefits transactions, implementing initiatives, maintaining policies, process and programs.
Functions and Responsibilities
-Responsible for administrative tasks assigned by members of the HR team including data entry into HRIS and employee records systems, processing vendor invoices, reporting, processing employee changes within the HRIS system, and completing unemployment claims. Works closely with Payroll and HRIS on employee data changes. Assist with coordination of special events, recognition programs, and employee morale programs as needed.
-Coordinates and conducts new hire onboarding program including orientations. Works closely with HR team and hiring managers to ensure all relevant onboarding tasks are completed. Conducts new hire check in meetings or surveys.
-Acts as a resource for employee questions and issues regarding onboarding, HR policies and procedures, benefit programs, research problems and/or refers issues to the appropriate subject matter expert. Manages the HR inbox.
-Supports the Annual Review process by providing systems training to employees and managers, tracking completion, acting as systems administrator, and reporting.
-Update and maintain HR materials and website including employee handbook, policies & procedures, employee and manager tool kits, and employment posters across US campuses.
-Conducts exit interviews and identifies themes to be shared with HR team.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn HRIS system

Education and Certification Requirements
4-year bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in human resources
