Technical Service & Applications, Life Sciences - Remote

This position is to provide application and technical support for Sartorius Laboratory Products & Services, and proactively support sales of our products.
What you can look forward to accomplishing:
Support customers by phone, email, video, or instant messaging; as well as visit customers
Document customer interactions
Troubleshoot customer problems and facilitate the complaint handling process
Determine appropriate equipment for customer-specific needs
Continuously train to gain more application, product, and market knowledge
Attend trade shows as necessary
Comply with company procedures and policies, as well as other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience you need to bring to our company:
Experience in the life sciences with laboratory products (pipetting, lab water systems, laboratory filtration, quality control microbiology, or laboratory weighing)
Application experience in cell culture, protein purification and detection, sample preparation or bioanalytical assays, as well as digital microscopy, flow cytometry and qPCR.
Experience with utilizing CRM systems (Saleforce.com) for product and service support
Experience in digitizing content to drive self-serve customer fulfillment
Process Improvement/Six Sigma experience welcomed
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Mechanical and electronic aptitude
Perform with frequent interruptions and/or distractions
- Associates' Degree in a Sciences discipline
- 2+ year's of industry experience
Travel around 20%, but some international travel is expected
