Bioprocess Sales Representative - Key Accounts - Nebraska

Sartorius has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, self motivated, entrepreneurially spirited professional to help fuel the growth of our Bioprocess Solutions portfolio. The incumbent in this key role will be a trusted business partner to our customers in the biopharmaceutical arena. Demonstrate a natural affinity to influence and sell to all levels of an organization. Ability to persuade, through logic and bottom-line reasoning.
Support the Sales Manager/Director to achieve annual sales target and fulfil corporate objectives within assigned account.
Shapes opinions of key stakeholders. Manage and grow an existing sales base within the assigned account and develop new contacts and applications.
Provide initial technical & sales support for new and existing customer inquiries, and as required, engages a range of more specialized in-house technical experts as needed to support these discussions.
Meet with customers, make professional presentations, initiate the preparation of proposals, communicate proposals to customers and negotiate with customers to achieve a successful resolution.
Plans time and priorities in an effective manner to achieve goals for sustainable results.
Generate and maintains record within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track customer contacts, proposal generation, and customer specific information.
Working knowledge of biopharma production processes/unit operations with the ability to grow client business through understanding of the client’s objectives.
Able to work closely with functional support organizations to effectively achieve goals.
Implement assigned corporate objectives within the territory. • Understands the basics of pricing and can articulate the value or reasons behind pricing. Utilizes effective negotiation skills; generates results with positive outcomes for both parties.
Prepare information as needed for customer meetings and discussions with management, including status, tracking and financial reporting.
Attend review meetings as requested by management to review current project and YTD sales.
Attend trade shows and sales meetings as requested by sales management.

Skills and experience that you need to bring to our company:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office apps (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Demonstrated ability to develop productive relationships with internal and external customers resulting in favorable outcomes for all parties.
Flexible and willing to travel within Los Angeles metro area to optimize customer engagement; occasional international travel required.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant practical experience (minimum of 6 years) that demonstrate a strong ability and proven competency to work effectively as a sales representative within the biopharmaceutical industry.
A minimum of 3 years’ relevant industry experience, preferably within a GMP of GLP environment.
A post graduate qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant scientific discipline is desired but not essential.
