What you can look forward to accomplishing:


  • Identify and target best prospects for Sartorius Laboratory Products and Services within a defined telesales/In House Sales region
  • Prospect and identify groups with a high probability of purchasing Sartorius Laboratory Products and Services
  • Determine the buying motives of key decision makers in companies and organizations specific to the Applied Research Markets in North America
  • Gather appropriate information and contacts potentially utilizing Sartorius LPS Lab Essentials products
  • Fit the proper products to the proper customers or prospects
  • Analyze customer needs and develop a solutions-based sales technique
  • Deliver product knowledge in a suitable way for customers to understand, and emphasize product value
  • Prepare and present product quotations using the assigned quoting tools
  • Negotiate when necessary with prospective customers to meet the objectives of Sartorius at relevant AR accounts
  • Draft, review and present complete customer reports and provide information in a coherent way
  • Map territories and develop sales strategies for relevant accounts within specific territories
  • Map accounts with key contact information
  • Be responsible for the entire sales process from Lead Generation to opportunity Development to Quotation/Negotiation to Closed Won/Lost.  Utilize all sales and support resources including application managers, technical support and sales management
  • Present and support all marketing initiatives, and attend sales meetings and exhibitions as needed
  • Enhance the Sartorius brand awareness activities for Laboratory Products and Services


Skills and experience that you need to bring to our company:


  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum of 6 months of In House Sales experience using telephone and electronic communication techniques
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Products and Services preferred
  • Expert knowledge of English – speaking ,reading, writing, and the ability to utilize Sartorius relevant IT tools, CRM and MS Office
