What you can look forward to accomplishing:

 

  • Receive inbound materials and non-inventory Purchase Orders and verify contents and compare with records such as manifests, packing slips, or invoices to verify accuracy of incoming shipments (Part No., Quantity and Batch/Serial No.)
  • Record the receipt of material into company ERP system
  • Transfer material to Incoming Quality Inspection, if required, or to the main warehouse
  • Responsible for communicating WM issues with Management
  • Processing of returned goods through QN module within SAP and the transfer of product between storage locations within SAP
  • Organize and maintain stock shelves in an orderly fashion that complies with ISO policies and procedures
  • Report inventory Discrepancies and Damages for incoming receipts and document in QN module in SAP
  • Routine use of pallet jack and forklift
  • Ensure warehouse receiving areas are clean and organized
  • Perform daily cycle counts and other counts as required
  • Keep inventory accurate in Finished Goods warehouse
  • Work closely within the Warehouse Group to cover manpower shortages
  • Be an active participant in 6s, Continual Improvement and Work Cell Goals and Objectives
  • Strive to meet goals and objectives as listed by the Manager of Warehouse
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager of the Warehouse that fall into the knowledge and skills for this position
  • Some overtime may be required

 

Skills and experience that you need to bring into the company:

 

  • High School Graduate Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1-2 years Shipping/Receiving related or equivalent experience preferred
  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), MS Office and Outlook
  • Ability to demonstrate professional interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to function in a fast paced, high volume, multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to maintain attention to details and organizational skills in a Warehouse environment
  • Ability to work within a team based environment
  • Displays ownership and accepts accountability for work completion and quality
