Data Integration Analyst

We are adding a Data Integrations Analyst to our growing team in Birmingham, AL. This role will work in an operational mode in managing the exchange of data. This function also is intended to include those that involve researching and resolving member related issues as it pertains to the correctness of data and its exchange.

Job Duties Include:

  • Handles the exchange of eligibility data between clients, PBM’s, and other 3rd parties.

  • Handles the exchange of claim data between the PBM’s and clients or 3rd parties.

  • Researches data and member related issues.

  • Receives calls from both internal and external customers regarding data file issues.

  • Assists with operational aspects of implementing changes to existing clients.

  • Serves as a resource to others.

  • Tracks projects to ensure that data files are received and processed on-time.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or computer science or related field, equivalent work experience may be considered.

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Proficiency with ASCII Text files and editing software

  • Knowledge/experience with FTP software

  • Knowledge/experience with encryption software

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills

  • Proven ability to handle multiple and competing priorities

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Strong technical acumen and an understanding of major industry sector trends.

  • Experience troubleshooting pharmacy systems / software a plus

  • Healthcare/PBM industry experience a plus

  • Commercial software help desk experience (JIRA, Track IT, HEAT) a plus
