Customer Marketing Manager

The Customer Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating exceptional customer engagement programs, driving deeper relationships with EBCs, employers and TPA clients to drive retention, loyalty and expansion in our customer base. These tactics will be designed to ensure customers find value in RxBenefits at every step of their journey with us. This is a new position for the organization, so we are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial and can take the ball and run with it. We are looking for an experienced Customer Marketing Manager in our Birmingham, AL office.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Design messaging strategies and develop new marketing content which aligns to retention and growth opportunities

  • Define customer segmentation approach and deliver personalized experiences along the customer journey based on those segments (i.e., client size, EBC relationship, persona)

  • Engage customers through a variety of channels, including email, newsletters, calls, face-to-face, events, webinars, and gifts

  • Build out the NPS program, survey program, and other systems to measure client happiness and retention

  • Cultivate customer champions and work with the Director of Demand Generation to build a referral program, collecting testimonials, case studies, and references

  • Manage planned and ad hoc Customer and Member communication requests

  • Develop customer specific presentations in partnership with the Creative team

    Required Experience & Skills:


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

  • 3- 5 years’ digital marketing experience in B2B environment

  • Familiarity with HR and benefits landscape and/or health care industry; Account Management experience at a PBM strongly preferred

  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with other teams, including client-facing and product teams

  • Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to present and explain marketing directions to a broad audience, both internally and externally

  • Ability to quickly understand complex issues, frame insights and communicate recommendations simply and effectively

  • Strong collaboration, communication and leadership skills to work on a close-knit team and the ability to work with a cross-functional marketing team

  • Creativity, to develop new and exciting ways to engage EBCs, as well as employer and TPA clients of various sizes

  • Analytical, to measure the impact any programs are having on customer retention and advocacy
