Project HOME achieves its mission through a continuum of services comprised of street outreach, a range of supportive housing, and comprehensive services. Job Summary The primary responsibility of the CBA is to address the administrative needs of the Vice President of Strategy and Impact and for the Organizational Learning, Data and Quality Assurance, and Advocacy and Community Life departments at Project HOME.  This position may also support ad hoc project facilitation needs on an as needed basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing administrative support the VP of Strategy and Impact, Director of Organizational Learning and Community Life, Director of Data and Quality Assurance, and Director of Advocacy and Community Engagement and the team as a whole.
  • Maintain excellent financial records, including monthly financial reporting, reimbursements, ad credit card expense reports
  • Prepare tracking documents for department needs as needed
  • Set and record internal and external meetings; provide minutes
  • Provide ad hoc capacity and special projects support for Organizational Learning, Data and Quality Assurance, and Advocacy and Community Engagement teams, including:
    • Assisting with the development and implementation of project management plans (tasks and timelines and compliance) for key projects
    • Supporting improved operations and financing for services and housing, through best practices research, policy analysis, focus groups, and solicitation of recommendations and input
  • Support grant development, writing, and reporting needs on an as needed basis
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Able to manage projects from inception to completion; Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Strong demonstrated administrative ability
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and project management skills
  • Excellent computer/technology skills, organizational skills, ability to innovate, research, and work strategically towards a goal
  • Ability to work as a positive team member in a productive environment
  • Computer proficiency in the use of database and spreadsheet software; eagerness to expand these skills
  • Ability to enjoy a high-performing, fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to social justice

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the human services field
  • Knowledge of (or ability to quickly learn) homeless system in Philadelphia
  • Additional technical skills
  • Social work experience
