The Financial Planning Analyst, based in our corporate office located in northwest Austin (River Place Blvd), will be responsible for compiling and analyzing financial, operational and marketing-related information for the organization.
 

Position responsibilities:
 

  • Create financial models to project revenue from specific sales pipeline data
  • Develop integrated revenue and expense analyses, projections, reports and presentations
  • Create financial models to analyze lease vs. buy scenarios for capital investment
  • Create financial models and perform scenario analysis given various financial and operational inputs
  • Create pricing/costing models to determine the optimum product price given various customer characteristics
  • Collect, interpret & analyze business impact from marketing spend; present data determining effectiveness of marketing strategies and recommendations to optimize spend
  • Build ROI projections and effectiveness tracking metrics for various function specific investment proposals
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data and produce substantiated recommendations
  • Assist in planning and analyzing budget and sales results

  • Highly analytical and robust problem solving abilities
  • Establish and sustain strong business relationships and effectively prioritize business needs
  • Extremely organized and ability to easily manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to synthesize complex data from a variety of sources into a cohesive, understandable format and to present findings to Executive team
  • Self-motivator who can work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Solid PC skills with demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Experience:

  • BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Mathematics
  • 3-5 years experience performing complex analysis
  • Experience in enhancing current financial models or creating them from scratch
  • Experience with regression analysis a plus
