342 - Postdoctoral Position In T cell control of Allergic Asthma
Postdoctoral position available immediately to join a multi-disciplinary team in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Croft that is focused on control of inflammatory disease by TNF family proteins. The research project will investigate how several co-stimulatory proteins related to TNF are important for the response of allergen-reactive memory T
cells and control of lung inflammation in animal models of asthma. Emphasis
will be on in vivo regulation of tissue-resident memory T cell development and
maintenance, and how to therapeutically suppress the activity of these cells
and induce a state of tolerance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. or M.D. in Immunology. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in cellular immunology, with an emphasis on T cell immunity, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience in mouse models of inflammatory disease, and in immunology techniques, such as cytokine analyses, flow cytometry, adoptive transfer, and RNA-seq, are desired.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates should upload their CV and list of three references. Candidates must also email Dr. Michael Croft their CV and list of three references to firstname.lastname@example.org
