Job Description: The Facilities Technician utilizes skills to perform preventive maintenance and basic corrective repair of building, equipment and grounds. This person will monitor building system operations and performance by utilizing several skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
Conduct maintenance work, service requests, building inspections and preventative maintenance
Ensure that all repair work has been completed in a safe, prompt and professional manner
Focus on general repair and maintenance of buildings interior and exterior repairs including but not limited to:
Communicate concerns of the facility to leadership
Prepare maintenance reports and other job-related documentation
Maintain inventory of equipment, tools and supplies
Purchase parts as needed
Snow removal and landscaping duties
Some travel is required
2 or more years of experience required
High School diploma/GED required
Must have knowledge in tools, equipment, and building materials
Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
Must be proactive and diligent
Must have a professional, cooperative, positive and flexible attitude
Understands and complies with all applicable Firm policies, procedures and philosophies
Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization.
Exercises sound independent judgment under minimal direct supervision.
Military experience a plus.
