Job Description: The Web Developer will work within the IT Department to design, develop and support websites and integrations, as well as to evaluate and deploy third party products to help the firm meet business objectives. The Developer will be part of a team that is responsible for working with key stakeholders, including users, clients, and other IT members to define and implement solutions.


  • Support/troubleshoot SQL Server and core technologies such as Windows servers.

  • Participate in implementation, testing, deployment and integration with various third-party applications.

  • Document database and database server schemas, configurations and architectures.

  • Consult with personnel at all levels of the organization to discuss business requirements and potential solutions.

  • Train users on processes and systems.

  • Participate in system testing, integration testing, and review/development of business training materials.

  • Remain abreast of current technologies and best practices.

  • Assists with other duties as needed.

  • Enhances own professional growth and development through participation in educational programs.

  • Participates in professional organizations and reading of current literature.

  • Understands and complies with all applicable Firm policies, procedures, values and philosophies.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Linux/Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP. (LAMP and WAMP)

  • PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, C#, .NET.

  • Ability to create and consume RESTful services.

  • Significant experience with WordPress and Drupal.

  • Proven knowledge of the most current security best practices.

  • Experience with SharePoint, PHP Frameworks, React.js, Vue.js, PowerShell experience is a plus.

  • Microsoft SQL Server.

Other qualifications:

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of prior Web Development experience.

  • College degree preferred.

  • Experience with PowerShell.

  • Familiarity with version-control systems.

  • Experience with Cloud-based API access to data and data warehousing a plus.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Access and Excel.

  • Experienced in the creation of SSRS reports.

  • Experience with planning and implementing SQL Server environments.

  • Experience with Active Directory and GPO are pluses.

  • Must have debugging skills and techniques.

  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing and assessing business processes, prioritizing and developing IT solutions for complex business situations.

  • Ability to build, develop and grow interpersonal business relationships vital to the success of the project.

  • Able to complete assignments timely and accurately.

  • Excellent client service and listening skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization.

  • Exercises sound independent judgment under minimal direct supervision.

  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently as well as coordinate with a team.

  • Military experience a plus.
