This job is responsible for providing technical support thru development of a robotics and process automation platform, in an effort to focus the design and implementation of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) technology solutions that meet customer needs and business initiatives.
Evaluate detailed business, functional, and high-level technical requirements.
Recognize and understand use of design patterns for intermediate/complex applications.
Apply reusability and future state architecture and framework.
Participates and provides feedback in design reviews.
Develop code for intermediate to complex modules, following documentation and development standards.
Create enhanced technical documentation and implement changes.
Conduct timely structured code reviews to ensure standards and systems interoperability.
Analyze and interpret code
Create accurate test plans, conditions, and data.
Participate in testing reviews.
Conduct basic levels of module and integration testing according to process standards.
Track and resolve moderate defects.
Provide technical assistance.
Analyze and resolve moderate to complex problems.
Execute change management activities supporting production deployments for projects and other changes
3-5 years of Java (or other object-oriented language) development experience
Experience developing applications using modern technologies and frameworks, such as: AngularJS, REST, HTML5, CSS, SQL, Java, C++ to name a few
Experience developing solutions using software development platforms, such as Pegasystems, Salesforce, and Appian
Passionate about innovation and implementing cutting-edge technologies
Outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization
Passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies
BS / MS in computer science or related engineering field is preferred but not required
