Under supervision and following established policies and department procedures, provides accounting support in the accounts payable area including the functional duties listed below.
The incumbent has no direct reports.
- Administers the Bank’s centralized Accounts Payable function for all legal entities under the supervision of the Controller.
- Processes all refunds received, invoice payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Prepares the annual tax information filings (1099-Miscellaneous) for review.
- Assists with the fixed asset system and prepaid accounting system.
- Completes ad-hoc reports, GL reconciliations and accounts payable related activity.
- Utilizes Peoplesoft Accounts Payable accounting software to complete job duties.
Education: High school graduate required with college accounting courses a plus.
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of accounting and accounts payable experience.
Skills/Ability: PC literate in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel; organized and detail oriented; Bilingual (English/ Mandarin) is a plus; ability to plan, prioritize; responsible and self-motivated; good verbal and written communication skills. Able to work individually and in a team environment. Able to work with PeopleSoft accounts payable software and prepaid software.
