The Pipeline Supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing employees and contractors in activities related to maintenance, operations and measurement of gathering and/or pipeline system.



  • Supervise, direct, train and/or assist employees performing pipeline operations, measurement and maintenance activities on gathering and/or pipeline system
  • Coordinate system improvements, modifications and other special projects
  • Coordinate with landowners along Pipeline Right of Way and be present for pipeline digs performed by city or utility contractors
  • Maintain communication with trucking company
  • Serve as emergency pipeline response on all calls from the public or agencies
  • Compile, prepare, coordinate and/or analyze various reports and documents including but not limited to:
    • Measurement documentation
    • Balance reports
    • AFE’s
    • Construction drawing and maps
    • Monthly meter proving, pigging and shakeouts

  • Ensure compliance with DOT standards and provide controllers and operators with DOT training and updates



  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of pipeline operations, maintenance, measurement and related equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor pipeline activities and situations to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to train, direct and/or supervise



  • Working knowledge of use and function of computers and applicable spreadsheet and word processing software such as Microsoft Excel and Word



  • Combination of education and industry specific work experience
