Bloodworks NW is seeking an experienced Research Coordinator for our Clinical and Translational Research Program.  This position will collaborate in the implementation of several research protocols exploring several different therapeutic areas in bleeding disorders and observational studies aimed at improving diagnosis, treatment and quality of life of persons with bleeding disorders.  The Research Coordinator will be involved in all aspects of the research study including recruitment, enrollment, scheduling and collecting study required samples, completing case report forms, organizing study data, completing Institutional Review Board applications and other regulatory paperwork, ensuring compliance and acting as a liaison to clinical staff and study sponsors on clinical trial activities. 


Requirements include:

  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent education and experience. 

  • Minimum two years prior experience coordinating clinical research projects and experience with phlebotomy is preferred. 

  • Experience with regulatory paperwork and the Institutional Review Boards involved with research of human subjects strongly recommended; technical writing skills desired. Must have strong attention to detail. 

  • Demonstrated effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. 

  • Demonstrated familiarity with computerized, analysis, records management, including demonstrated computer skills using MS Office and web based data management.

  • Must be highly organized, able to multi-task and take initiative to start and complete projects.
