The objective of this role is to allow seamless business practices between MacLean Power Systems and internal and external customers.  This position may include assembly, packaging, and learning machine operation within multiple departments.

  • Must be able to read, understand and apply blueprints, job/part specifications, measuring devices and tools, and various production sheets.
  • Must have an understanding of basic shop hand tools such as: grinders,  measuring devices( calipers, tapes, rulers etc.), hammers, pliers, wrenches, screw drivers, punches, drill bits etc..
  • Must have basic math skills and understand basic measurement increments in decimals and fractions: 1/16, 1/8, ¼, ½, 3/8: .25,.5,.75.
  • Must be able to communicate verbal and written with supervisors,management and coworkers regarding work related tasks, coordination, schedules and other job related issues.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Must possess strong safety attitude and ability to adhere to all safety requirements and practices





English is required.  Ability to read, analyzes, and interpret common drawings and work instructions.



Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.  Ability to correctly add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to read a tape measure.




Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions either furnished or created in written/oral form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in high stress situations. Detail oriented with multi-tasking abilities.




Must have HS Diploma or GED.  Helpful if have additional trade education.
