MOLDING OPERATOR II–  The Molding Operator II is required to operate semi-automated machines and perform various manual tasks.


 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate flow of material

  • Communicate with management and maintenance

  • Read and adhere to specifications used to determine set up and prescribed settings

  • Read blueprints and bill of materials

  • Complete first piece inspection, visually and by blueprint, and complete quality control forms

  • Perform routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance

  • Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications and inspect products for visual defects and flaws

  • Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures

  • Other duties may be assigned or required for this position

     
    REQUIRED SKILLS:
     

  • Must be able to troubleshoot and make decisions based on process requirement

  • Heavy lifting for post

  • Must be able to operate machines and hand tools

  • Must be able to study and interpret assembly instructions

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma required

  • 1-2 years of experience
