QUALITY ENGINEER– The Quality Engineer develops and manages activities concerned with the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for manufacturing processes and materials.


  • Support First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and PPAPs for the Engineering and Purchasing Departments
  • Lead plant-wide Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform ISO Internal Process Audits
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers on quality concerns while conducting investigations on non-conformance and recommends corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Engineering to prepare samples and test equipment for customer witnessed testing
  • Coordinate all aspects of ISO9001-2015, including all pertinent documentation, reviews, and audits
  • Implement continuous improvement tools and techniques in all stages of QA to improve productivity, eliminate waste, and streamline all operations
  • Work with the Manufacturing Engineering Department to provide consistent and pertinent documentation for all manufacturing operations, including control plans, manufacturing instructions, standard work, and quality inspection instructions and procedures
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Other duties may be assigned or required for this position     


  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific data and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Must be able to communicate effectively regarding common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, members of the business community, employees, and managers
  • Must be able to write complex and confidential correspondence
  • Must be able to effectively present information to clients, public groups, boards of directors, employees, and management
  • Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to apply industrial metrology and GD&T 


  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
  • Must possess knowledge of quality techniques and tools
