What we need…
 

An Application Software Manager to lead our software support teams. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual able to work independently or in a group environment. This candidate will lead a team of software developers in their mission to support escalated issues from our service teams, and also deliver enhancements for select production features. This role provides the opportunity to work with a variety of teams and stakeholders who are focused on delivering results for our customers

What you’ll do

  • Lead, mentor and inspire a group of software developers with varying levels of skills and experiences
  • Foster, grow and strengthen relationships with your peers to enable the most effective execution of your duties
  • Coordinate your tea to perform, supper and maintain existing applications and systems
  • Refine and improve your teams skills and processes on a continuous basis
  • Passionately collaborate with the rest of the COCC team in pursuit of excellence for our staff and customers

What you’ll bring…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field required
  • Minimum 7 years programming experience, preferably in a financial services environment
  • Previous supervisory experience with at least one team of software developers
  • Experience with Client/Server, n-tier environments
  • Experiences with databases, networks and SQL query capabilities – preferably Oracle and SQL Server
  • Experience with some of the following languages: C#.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, ASP, ASP.net, Java Script, HTML, jQuery, Angular JS, CoffeeScript, CSS, XAML, AJAX, JSON
  • Outstanding oral/written communication skills; ability to interact with various levels of staff and management
