We are currently seeking a Programming Supervisor to lead a group of Software Engineers developing our two core platforms, INSIGHT and iBanking. The ideal candidate will join a high-performing software development group as we continue to deliver high-value banking solutions to clients of COCC, an award-winning financial technology company. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with varied teams and stakeholders, while also acting as a positive, energized role-model for team members to emulate.

What you’ll do…

  • Supervise, support, and mentor a team of Software Engineers of varying experience levels
  • Partner with leadership peers for successful task and project delivery
  • Regular working experience with the following languages; C#.NET, SQL Server, PL/SQL
  • Prefer experience with some of the following languages; ASP,, Java Script, HTML, jQuery, Angular JS, React, CoffeeScript, CSS, XAML, AJAX, JSON
  • Regular working experience with Oracle and SQL database environments
  • Project lead for assigned projects
  • Prefer experience with multiple RDBMS
  • Code and unit test solutions for special requests, conversions, enhancements and defects
  • Troubleshoot systems problems
  • Analyze and Design coding solutions for feature requests
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the INSIGHT system
  • Devise product functionality based upon customer/vendor and industry input
  • Participate in product planning and design meetings; reviews/creates proposed designs
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders for testing and deployment purposes
  • Prepare project status reports as required
  • Handle stakeholder questions concerning existing and/or new functionality
  • Train internal staff on application changes or functionality of enhancements
  • May be asked to provide production support during off hours



What you’ll bring…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years programming experience in a financial services environment
  • A passion for helping diverse teams successfully meet their objectives
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both orally and in writing
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret banking periodicals, professional/technical journals and technical procedures
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, equations and permutations to problem
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as amortizations, schedules, frequency distributions, internal rates of return, analyses of variance and correlation techniques
  • Knowledge of several high-level programming languages
  • Knowledge of one lower-level language
  • Knowledge of OO concepts
  • Knowledge of Relational Database concepts
  • Knowledge of Client/Server and Web/Mobile concepts
  • Knowledge of N-tier concepts
  • Knowledge of Project Planning and Tracking concepts
